Something not behaving the way you expected on your walk through the croft? Send a note and it will be read by the person who built it — no ticket queue, no bot.
Email yusufkoyu2@gmail.comWhy can't I find a place on the scene?
Each stretch of the croft shows six places at a time. Tap "Wander on →" at the edge of the scene to move to the next stretch — there are five stretches in all, thirty places total. A place that hasn't been visited yet shows as a quiet, undiscovered silhouette in your Field Journal until you tap it on the scene.
My mix says it's full — what does that mean?
The mix holds up to five sound layers at once, one per discovered place. If you try to add a sixth, DewCroft lets you know the mix is full instead of adding it silently. Remove a layer with its close button in the Mix sheet to make room for another.
How do I clear my journal and start over?
Open Croft Keeping from the Field Journal header, then press and hold "Hold to clear the journal." A ring fills over about a second and a half — release early and nothing happens, so it can't be triggered by accident. Once it completes, your discovered places are cleared and you'll see a "Journal cleared" confirmation.
Why does the croft look different depending on when I open it?
The sky and light in DewCroft follow the clock on your iPhone — morning, afternoon, dusk and night each have their own look. It's not a setting you toggle; it changes on its own throughout the day, the same land seen at different hours.
I can't hear any sound — is something wrong?
Check that your phone isn't in silent mode and that sound is turned on inside Croft Keeping. DewCroft's ambient sound plays alongside anything else you have open, so if another app is also playing audio, DewCroft's layers may sit quietly underneath it rather than replace it.
Does DewCroft need an internet connection?
No. DewCroft works completely offline, on a plane, in airplane mode, anywhere. There is no account to sign into and nothing to download after the initial install.
